Steve was born in Missouri and raised in Cheyenne, WY. Steve comes to Casa Grande with a decade of pastoral and church planting experience having served as a youth pastor in Missouri, senior pastor at churches in Arkansas and Oklahoma, and most recently as a lead planter in Albuquerque, NM. Amanda is a 4th generation pastor's daughter and was born and raised near Joplin, MO. They have been married for 12 years and enjoy taking their two children, Judah and Skylar, on hiking adventures around the American Southwest. Amanda is a professional nature photographer and enjoys hiking, and exploring ancient ruins. Steve is an avid read of theology, Southwestern American history, philosophy, and fiction and enjoys smoking meats.

Steve was ordained as a Free Will Baptist minister in 2014, receieved his Bachelor's in Christian Ministry from Luther Rice University in 2017, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
